Good lighting is essential in any job, especially in one that requires precision and care. Currently, LED lamps are the best choice for those who want to create a safe work environment and have extremely bright lighting. Nowadays, incandescent, fluorescent or halogen lamps are no longer as efficient. 

What is LED? 

The abbreviation LED stands for "light-emitting diode". It is a semiconductor device that converts electric current directly into light. Due to their efficiency, size, longer service life and reliability, LEDs are used very widely - in the lighting of cars, construction, agricultural vehicles, etc. Due to its advantages, the possibilities of using LED are unlimited. 

Why choose LED lights? 

Concentrated light. Incandescent, fluorescent and halogen lamps focus light to a certain point with the help of reflectors. Meanwhile, LED technology allows you to do this without an external reflector. Other types of lamps use much more energy than a concentrated LED lamp to illuminate in all directions. 

Service life and durability. An LED lamp can last for 50,000 hours, which is 5 times longer than fluorescent lamps and almost 50 times longer than incandescent and halogen lamps. These lamps do not have delicate parts that can break, so they are often used in unsafe environments (factories, farms, etc.). So, these lamps used for 5 hours per day can be used for 15-20 years.

Economy and efficiency. Often the high cost of LED lights is considered their disadvantage, but the initial cost pays off in the long run. They are extremely economical, easy to install, and do not need to be replaced as often as other types of lamps. LED lights consume up to 90% (from 10W to 300W, and some LEDs even from 0.5W to 10W) less energy than, for example, incandescent lamps.

Power source. LED lights come with a variety of power sources: wired or rechargeable. Typically, rechargeable LED lights are extremely compact, lightweight and easy to transport, so they're often used in jobs that require on-the-go or mobility.

Safety. LED lights are made from non-toxic materials and can be recycled and reused. They don't get hot and are mercury-free, making them safe to use around children and animals. And when they burn out, they slowly dim, unlike incandescent lamps that turn off immediately.
